Erik Hoppenbrouwer

For more than 25 years, Erik has held positions up to boardroom level in global companies and led successful transformations.  Before founding The Key Co , Erik was Managing Director at SPITS, part of Alliance Healthcare, where he introduced a strategy that included moving to a new facility, updating to state of the art technology, setting up an innovation platform and a lean 6 sigma program.  The culture became positive, proud and pro-active, and profitability doubled.

Other roles included Co-founder of GxPartners which supports production companies in the pharmaceutical, food supplements and cosmetic industry with operations and quality issues. Between 2010 and 2015 Erik was Chief Operations Officer at Fagron Group. Previously, he was Director Project Planning and Supply Chain at Schering-Plough (2006 – 2010) and Supply Chain Director at Organon (2002 – 2005).

Working internationally with multi-disciplinary teams, he found that successful transformation is always within the people themselves and that organisations excel when people can truly contribute with their knowledge, expertise and passion in a safe environment.

Erik holds an MSC in Chemistry from Utrecht, an MBA from Cranfield, and is a Lean 6σ Black Belt.
