Online Workshop: Managing Change to Foster Innovation
May 18, 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
About this event
Organisations are changing all the time – particularly in the current circumstances. But is it in the direction we want? How do we go about influencing change within a complex human system to achieve the outcomes we seek?
If you’re, say, a highly skilled engineer in a particular technology, your professional training may not have prepared you to influence within human systems. They are more unpredictable and complex than purely physical systems.
If you want to influence effectively across silos and upwards, it helps to understand the nature of the culture and the sub-cultures in your organisation, and understand what you can do to positively influence how they are evolving.
This is the ideal workshop to build useful skills and acquire practical tools that will help you to influence the drivers of change – for your organisation, your team and yourself.
We strongly encourage you to attend with some other colleagues in order to bring back a shared language and understanding to your organisation.
Kerry had a successful career in investment banking before becoming a consultant post her MBA. Her customer base has encompassed private, public and third sector organisations such as Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Barclays, NHS organisations, Government departments, and Water Aid. She and her team have designed and driven multi-million budget global programmes of change management and business transformation involving business strategy, organisational design, new ways of working in the digital age, HR transformation, cultural change, non-financial risk and benefits realisation.
She has a proven track record of encouraging the innovation and collaboration required to successfully redesign and implement new business and operating models where there is a growth agenda, or where the current state is becoming obsolete. Her passion lies in identifying sustainable strategies to re-invent or re-build strategic and cultural resilience in organisations in support of creating value for the ultimate customer. This is perhaps particularly relevant in this current COVID impacted environment
